John A. Windolf, CLU, CPCU
Chairman and CEO
Upon graduating from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, with a major in insurance studies, Jack Windolf was commissioned as a lieutenant in the United States Marine Corps. Jack and his new bride, Muriel Bollinger Windolf, then
moved to Quantico, VA for one year and then served 3 years with the 1st Marine Brigade,
stationed at Kaneohe, HI. After 4 years of active duty, Jack joined Bollinger, Inc.,
which, at the time, was owned and operated by his father-in-law, Jim Bollinger.
Jack started as a producer with Bollinger, learning the business from the ground
up. He earned professional degrees in both property casualty
insurance (CPCU) and life and health insurance (CLU). Within 2 years, due to the poor health of Jim Bollinger,
Jack took over the reins and became CEO of Bollinger in 1965.
Since that time, Bollinger has grown from a specialty insurance agency with 7 employees to a well diversified insurance brokerage firm with over 450 employees. In recent
years, Jack has spearheaded the acquisition of 33 different insurance agencies and
has driven organic growth through new business sales. Bollinger now generates premium volume approaching $1 billion, and is the 20th largest insurance broker in the United
States.
Douglas T. Cook, CLU, CPCU, ChFC
Corporate Vice President and
Managing Director, Benefits Division
After graduating from Davidson College in 1970 with a degree in Economics,
Douglas Cook played professional basketball in the NBA and in Italy. Prior to
joining Bollinger in 1973, he spent 1½ years working as a bond trader in the
Investment Division of First Union National Bank in Charlotte, NC.
In his almost 35 years at Bollinger, Doug has held many positions including Vice
President of Marketing, overall corporate Sales Manager, and is currently
Managing Director of the Benefits Division. Doug also serves on Bollinger's
Board of Directors as the Corporate Vice President and is a Trustee of the
Bollinger ESOP. He holds professional degrees in both property and casualty
insurance (CPCU) and in life and health insurance (CLU and ChFC).
G. Alex Crispo
Chief Administrative Officer
Prior to joining Bollinger in 1995, Alex Crispo worked as a commercial
litigator, first in New York City and then in New Jersey. He serves as General Counsel in charge
of all legal affairs for the firm, and as Chief Administrative Officer in charge
of
the Administration Division and the Property & Casualty Claims Department. In each of
these areas he draws upon his experience as a litigator and trial
attorney to best serve Bollinger and its clients.
Alex received a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Holy Cross in 1986, and in 1989, his law degree (J.D.) from Fordham University School of Law, where he was the Assistant Editor of the Fordham University Environmental Law Journal.
He is admitted to
practice law in New Jersey and New York. Alex is a member of both
the New Jersey and New York Bar Associations, the American Bar Association and
the American Corporate Counsel Association. He is a Trustee of the Bollinger ESOP, serves
on Bollinger's Board of Directors, and he is the Corporate Secretary for the firm.
Lori Windolf Crispo, CPCU
Senior Executive Vice President, Sports Division
Lori Windolf Crispo joined Bollinger in 1985 and has managed the Sports
Division since 1990. Through this specialty niche, Bollinger provides a variety of coverages
on a nationwide basis under exclusive program arrangements with our carriers. Lori
is responsible for all facets of the operations and sales management of the Sports
Division.
She is a member of Bollinger's Executive Committee and Senior Staff/Sales
Council. Lori earned a Bachelor of Arts cum laude in French and Medieval History
from Smith College. She earned her professional degree in property-casualty insurance (CPCU)
in 1990. Lori is a former trustee of
the Montclair Kimberley Academy (Montclair, NJ) and continues to serve as an advisory member of MKA's Alumni Council. Lori was
recently honored by Business Insurance as one of 50 "Women to Watch" in property-casualty
and risk management (July 2007).
Matthew Gardner
Managing Director, Commercial Lines Division
Matthew Gardner joined Bollinger, Inc. in 2006 as Managing Director of the
Commercial Lines Division. In this position, Matthew oversees Bollinger's
commercial lines operations in all office locations.
Before joining Bollinger, Matthew was Senior Vice President of Commerce Banc
Insurance Services in charge of their Pennsylvania Region and the Executive Risk
and Surety Practices. Prior to that, he served in key positions with AON Risk
Services. Matthew is a graduate of Drexel University and has an MBA from the
University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.
Rhonda Linnett Graber, CIC
Managing Director, Personal Insurance Division
Rhonda Linnett Graber joined Bollinger in 2001 when her family's independent
insurance brokerage firm, the Robert E. Linnett Agency, merged with Bollinger.
At the time, she was
the managing partner of the Linnett Agency.
Rhonda has over 20 years of insurance experience in both personal and commercial
insurance. Since joining Bollinger, she has held a variety of positions. Rhonda
currently directs Bollinger's Personal Lines Division which services the
insurance needs of over 50,000 individuals and families throughout the tri-state
area.
Rhonda received her B.A. in Political Science from Gettysburg College. She has
her Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation. She serves on
the Board of Trustees of Caldwell College and is a member and past president of
the North Jersey Chamber of Commerce. In addition, she serves on Bollinger's
Board of Directors.
David Hatlem
Executive Vice President, Golf and Country Club Division
David Hatlem joined Bollinger in 2007 as Executive Vice President of the Golf
and Country Clubs Division. He is responsible for all facets of the management
of the division which provides insurance programs on a nationwide basis to golf
clubs, golf associations, tennis clubs and city clubs.
He began his insurance career with K&K Insurance Group (Aon Corporation) in
1989. During his tenure he managed several different program divisions both
domestically and internationally. Most recently he was the Vice President of
Motorsports.
David is a graduate of Denison University with a B.A. in Economics.
Christopher
H. Wetzel
Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
and Corporate Treasurer
In 1977, after graduating from Rutgers University with a degree in Business
Administration, Chris Wetzel spent 7 years in the hospitality industry with Host
International and Marriott Corporation. In 1984, Chris joined Bollinger as
Controller. He earned the professional CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor)
designation in 1992 and in 1998 became the corporation's Chief Financial
Officer.
In addition to managing the finance division, Chris is responsible for the
overall financial stability of the corporation through the creation of and
adherence to divisional budgets, maintaining solid banking relations and
assisting with mergers and acquisitions.
